Alot of work for no pay

ProsNone - not even the pay is good.

ConsWhen I started here about 8 people quit including 1 supervisor and right away red flags went off. Logisticare is full of temps because the permanent employees quit and moved on. Then the temps get hired, get fed up and quit as well. There is not one major problem in Logisticare. Just a number of significant things that make the job unbearable.

Logisticare is one of those companies that expect everything out of you but give nothing and I do mean nothing in return. They do not care about their employees. If you're a CSR, you're nothing and pretty much expendable.

They change guidelines at the drop of a hat with little to no notification at all, so no one is on the same page ever. Because of the amount of turnover, you're constantly stuck fixing the mistakes of new hires which gets really tiresome after a while.

It's poorly run. They expect you to take calls from other departments you've never been trained in and call it customer courtesy. When in actuality its counter-productive, to force people to take calls they cannot properly assist clients in. It's also poor customer service to leave member's in the correct que waiting. It's just another ploy to keep calls from being re-qued so managers won't look bad.

Every time you walk in the door, there is something new to do. However, your pay will stay the same even though you're doing the work of your own dept and someone else's. On top of that, you're still expected to maintain call stats as if you aren't and that's in between filling out forms, putting in notes, and faxing, etc.

A majority of your clients have a wide variety medical issues and are rude and verbally abusive. There is no recourse for you, other than to deal with it.

No breaks when alot of calls are in que, especially on Mondays. Be prepared to sit for 5 hours straight with no break. You can't hear riders because supervisors are yelling around the office to get out of aux and take calls and then when you're on a call, you're not working fast enough.

You do all of this for $11.00/hour which is poor compensation in general especially for what you have to deal with. Logisticare is the double-edged sword of both stress-overwork and poor compensation.

They didn't give out raises for a time, but now if you're there for over a year you get a .22 cent raise. If you a job elsewhere making just $1.00 more it would save you the pain of working at Logisticare for over 4 years just to reach $12.00.

There are no bonuses for holidays, not for CSRs anyway. When you start, your sick hours are equivalent to 2 or 3 sick days for a year. The rest of your sick hours you have to earn every pay period!

How do a vast numbers of employees in completely different states give a company such a bad rating? Only if the infrastructure of this company is just horrible.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop playing favorites with promotions. Compensate people better they will work harder. If you're going to ask us to take classes in other departments, TRAIN US. Give us REAL sick days.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Not a great environment

    I have been working at LogistiCare full-time for more than a year

    Pros: There are no pros...if you are not in a clique,… Cons: Management does not listen to CSR's, Upper management is clueless. Even going to the bathroom is an issue in the job, if you go over… Advice to Senior Management: Remember that the reason you are all making your salaries is the CSR's, treat them with respect!!
