I have been working at Logitech

    Pros

Family spirit, startup feeling, but already a big company at the same time
Great management team, great prospects, great growth story, and products which are fun to make and to use
This is also a totally multinational company with people from many many countries, and design offices all over the world. Working in such multi-ethnic environment is very stimulating as you learn everyday from others. Job rotations are also promoted and it allows people to spend time in different locations/or divisions learning new skills
The company is also totally focused on customers and trying to improve its products through customer feedback as much as possible

    Cons

No downsides, except the fact that we are all very busy. Competition is tough and it keeps the team very active.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing the same great job, pushing company towards growth and keeping the team motivated for success.

    I worked at Logitech

    Pros

great benefits, profit sharing, consecutive growth.

    Cons

in mechanical engineering, you have to travel overseas a lot and deal with problems related from offshore division. Offshore asian engineers have different mentality compared to the state. When you travel to taiwan or china, you expect to work a lot of hours and get the job done. There is constant communication problem between US and offshore engineers. You may have a design review at offshore site. You are the only person travel from the US and tons of asian engineers sitting in the conference room critique your design. It is not a good ad easy relationship. Product development time line is really short. One project is about 9 months. It started in sept, by march of next year, you better al nail down the issues, because validation coming up next few months, then production in summer and ready to ship worldwide for december holiday season distribution.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there are political conflict between employees in the us and offshore
