I worked at Lonza full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

I had great team mates. The attitude and relations in our local division were fantastic.

Cons

It is a massive international concern in many industries and with divisions separated all over the world. Communication between different sites can be sluggish and disjointed.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to work on communication.

I worked at Lonza full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

People are good and have good working relationships. General work atmosphere is good.

    Cons

Management stale, and company is over invested in some areas and underinvested in others. No true R&D efforts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop trying for home runs and look for more incremental success.

I have been working at Lonza as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Will hire you right out of college with no experience usually as a temporary contract employer but if you do well they will hire you full time

    Cons

Long shifts (12 hours) and you work every other weekend. Or if you get the night shift then be prepared to be on a very bizarre schedule.
