Pros

Team environment
Decent wages
Flexible about time off
Sometimes get to travel
Quality training at branch level
Comapny help with getting your gun and vest
Quarterly bonus possible

Cons

Not much in the way of raises
Trucks are outdated
Long hours
Sometimes hours get cut

Advice to Management

Don't forget us little people that work in the branch every day making your salaries and bonuses possible. Be a little more generous with raises. Also, bring back the cook outs - sometimes it's nice to sit down and socialize with the guys after a hard day.

Management has no sense of organization or common sense......consistently inconsistent!

    Pros

Looks good on your resume. (must have integrity)
Most of your coworkers and customers are very cool, down to earth people.

    Cons

Can't trust anyone; not even your partner (even if u work with the same person consistently).
    Managers are liars.

Very low pay; starting wage $10.50/hr (all other armored car services pay more).
Armored crew & vault employees make the same wage. (Atm techs take the most risk, do the most work & most knowledgeable of any position in the company, but get paid the same as other employees.) Loomis policy is that drivers & messengers are crosstrained; however that is not reality....they do not continuously train employees on atm or commercial routes. Some employees may know how to do atms & commercial, but get paid the same wage as everyone else. (some employees only drive)

Company does not care about employees.

Common sense is at a minimum among management.

    Trucks are pieces of crap.

    Advice to Management

Pay armored crew more than vault employees.

Train ALL armored employees on ATMs & commercial messenging!!!...if not, differentiate pay between drivers and messengers.

Combine ATM & commercial routes; if not, differentiate pay between ATM messengers (highest risk & work load) & commercial messengers.

Get employee feedback and act upon it!

    Pros

Decent compensation for the industry. Some real thought leaders. And a reasonable approach to benefits. Casual office environment. Good branch level operators.

    Cons

Absolutely run by the accountants. Regardless of contribution, the CEO and Executive leadership would cut your throat if it dropped a nickel to the bottom line.

Focused only on the next quarter with no real long term vision. They are one of the most profitable companies in their sector now, but have largely done it by slashing all support and crushing those who remain. Very short sighted leadership.

    Advice to Management

Adopt a long term strategy of investing in people instead of feathering your own nest and trying to get the nod from Stockholm.
