I worked at Los Angeles USD

Pros

decent pay and good benefits

Cons

When the phrase "the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing" was coined, it had to have been in reference to this bureaucracy. This district is about pushing paper, filling out forms and spending your own money to keep your credentials up to date; only masochists need apply. I really do not know who they paid to put reviews on here that are even remotely positive. Don't fall for it.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Many years ago a top American corporate trouble shooter was hired to fix this district. He quit less than a year into the project, declaring it to be unfixable. Need I say more? (Since you are obviously only there for the money; enjoy it while it lasts.)
