As a teacher, I was not respected or treated as a professional.

ProsSome really great and dedicated people are there.

ConsUnfortunately, those that are dedicated and treat teachers with respect, are leaving because of upper management at LAUSD.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of John Deasy.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Okay but it could be better. Love what I do just not the politics!

    Pros: Decent benefits for now, nice students, great colleagues that care… Cons: Too much standardized testing. The district is not overly organized. One department doesn"t seem to know what others are doing, so… Advice to Senior Management: Listen to the people who work at the school sites instead of all the paid consultants who spend little or no time in the classroom.… – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
