I have been working at Lowe's

Pros

They are really flexible when it comes to your schedule as long as you are part-time. They are pretty flexible to time-off requests as long as it isn't a last minute notice-type of deal unless it's an emergency.

Cons

They have a 6-month period after you move into a spot before you are available to move into another spot or get a promotion.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate more effectively!! Communication has been lacking and things haven't been getting to everyone, especially those that are part-time and only work two or three days a week.

I have been working at Lowe's

    Pros

Excellent pay, vacations easy to plan, no walls between departments

    Cons

raises are low (2.5%), require 30 days notice for days off and often overlooked when requested, rotating shift, little review of schedules before being posted resulting in Close than Open schedule. Human resourses manager at this location has an atitude and instead of trying to help intead refers you to the company employee website
