I worked at Lowe's

Pros

Nice to work with people who passed the personality screen! Friendly, customer oriented environment. Great training system. Great HR staff. Supportive management.

Cons

Pay and advancement opportunities are limited. Management typically salaried at 55 hour weeks. Ouch.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote the hard workers and smart workers, not just the pretty ones. Customers at Lowe's need quality service, for cute they can go to Hooters and slow service.
