I have been working at Lowe's full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Rotating schedule. Fast paced. Challenging.

Cons

Rotating schedule. The policy change of ending commissions. Lack of proper staffing.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The staffing issue is the biggest concern. Lowe's is losing revenue by under-staffing departments. Other unintended results of the staffing policy is to create an environment where the employees are stretched to the point that mistakes are made and the best employees leave.

    I worked at Lowe's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great training program, supportive upper management. Chance for advancement is unlimited with hard work and dedication.

    Cons

Pay was less than it should have been for work performed. Raises are very small. You can never get a raise of more than $.50 a year. Ridiculous. To get better money you have to promote, and then its only a 10-15% raise for doubling the work load.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your managers better, have equal pay across the board for men and women.
