    Lowe's has a great benefits package and has a lot of opprutunity for advancement if you are willing to move.

    Cons

    The higher you go you must move for furtherr promotion.

    Advice to Management

    Don't require your managers to move for a promotion if there is an opporotunity where they are.

    Pros

    Good benefits. Great shift schedules. Most of the team members and coaches (supervisors) are great!

    Cons

    Senior management stinks. Favoritism is a fast track! Great opportunity for team members to advance to management, but once you get there.....prepare to play along and shut up or you'll never get ahead. Team members run the place, since management is so concerned about keeping the union out. Have an accident? Get a write-up! Put something away wrong? Get a write-up? Pick the wrong item? Get a write-up. One minute late for work? Get a write-up! Measured standards (Performance Management!) under 100%? Get a write-up! Look at someone wrong? That's harrassment! Get fired! This place NEEDS a union!

    Advice to Management

    RESIGN! Bring in a new GM and AGM. We've lost several good coaches due to stupid management practices. The morale is so low amongst coaches and mid-management, it's pathetic. Several are (unbeknownst to upper management) are looking elsewhere right now.
