Great place to shop at, not the best to work at.

Appliance Sales Specialist (Current Employee) Nashville, TN

ProsEasy job. Discount on products and special pricing on certain items.

ConsIt is retail, anyone can do this job. It is hard to stand out. Management doesn't care about employees, but rather the bottom line. Commission was cut out in February of 2012, which cut most appliance sales specialist salaries by $7,000-15,000. Unless you get into management, most companies wont give much value for your experience.

Advice to Senior ManagementWork in a store department for one day, without management responsibilities and it will open your eyes about what associates deal with everyday. Do not be afraid to get your hands dirty as a manager, employees will respect you much more.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
