I worked at Lowe's part-time for less than a year

Pros

Decent pay for a college students and paid training. Staff was fun to work with

Cons

Hours aren't flexible, really old building, and supervisors seemed unorganized and weren't united

Hire supervisor's with more managerial experience

    Pros

    Tuition reimbursement, thank you for paying for my ticket out of this hostile corporation
    The job itself could be easy if we were given the tools to do it
    Getting money every two weeks

    Cons

    unreachable and unclear goals and expectations
    Joke of a computer system, it is HORRIBLE
    Corporate is way out of touch with the base stores
    They continue to launch all this "feel good" crap, but I don't want to hear about it. I want new computer systems,so the customer does not have to wait 30-45 minutes to spend thousands of dollars while the computer crashes yet again for the tenth time in one day. It is so frustrating to be so ill equipped to do my job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Spend a couple weeks in a store out of your comfort zone and realize the horrible policies you implement are unachievable
