    Pros

Management has always treated me like an adult. Pay is fine for the industry, benefits are good. Would recommend Lowe's to someone, with reservations.

    Cons

Too often I am the only associate in my department and also 1 or 2 adjoining ones. Inventory system has severe flaws, too often out of basics, nor have job-lot quantities on hand for commercial customers. Too many items in that are not even close to the mission of home repair and improvement.

    Advice to Management

If the future of Lowe's is making home improvement simple, you have to staff every department separately with trained individuals who have practical knowledge of the different facets of each project. An I-Phone to look things up, off an internal connection that is slow or non-existent is no substitute for men and women with knowledge all ready "up-loaded."
