Current Employee – been working at Lowe's part-time for more than a year

Pros – Awesome people to work with... also a good work environment and culture.
Pay is decent for a retail job.
Can be a very fun place to work in general (some people can be mood killers, but good overall).

Cons – Employees are not truly empowered to deter to thefts.
Raises are minimal.

Advice to Senior Management – Some people need to recognize that micro-managing is not necessary.
