I have been working at Lowe's full-time (less than an year)

Pros

- Cool co-workers
- Awesome Department manager
- Very understanding Manager's

I ended up at an awesome store. All the people there see to be quite nice. Now, there are a few people who are a little rugged, but we can't always have a perfect batch, can we?

Cons

- Some co-workers know how to get away with doing the bare minimum

Working in an entry level retail job, it's not uncommon to see some of the other entry employees not contributing as much as they could to get the job/tasks completed.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep on keepin' on.

    I have been working at Lowe's full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    I started working for Lowe's over 20 years ago. In that time, I have moved up with the company and have a points in time been in management for a period of 8+ years. I am now a Sales Specialist ( my choice ) I wanted to get back to a closer contact with a one on one with th customers.

    Cons

    The culture at Lowe's has changed over the years...20 years age motto " Lowes Knows" and we took pride in helping the customer...but the culture now is how fast can I complete the sales so that I can get back to untold paper work.

    Don't know that I have any advice that is meaningful to management.
