It's not awfully exciting or challenging, but is normally a steady job.

I have been working at Lowe's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I love working with the public and you do get plenty of that at Lowe's. It's a fairly steady job with room for advancement, if that's what you want. They do post openings and consider current employees, when qualified. They do offer a part-time health insurance plan, though I personally don't think it's worth the $$.

    Cons

The schedule is not consistent, so it's difficult to plan very far ahead. There is a lot of favoritism, though that's fairly prevalent in large corporations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep an eye on nepotism - which not only includes family, but friends.
