    Pros

Money is good and benefits are fantastic

    Cons

-As a salaried manager, you will be expected to work 55 hours + a week. The minimum is 48, but that is treated as the MINIMUM (aka only disengaged managers work only 48 hours) -Unless you are the store manager, you will be working a lot of nights -Training programs have been eliminated and there is no upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Your managers need training on how to develop employee instead of actively working to ensure that nobody underneath them can ever threaten their job security. Absolutely nobody with real potential is going to stick around while mediocrity is rewarded and the "yes men" are running the show. Getting rid of the ASM training programs was devastating to those of us out in the field because the amazing progress that the company had made getting away from the "good ole boy" system of choosing who gets promoted quickly regressed and is now worse than ever.

    Pros

-Company is constantly making changes to stay relevant for the future customer. -Benefits are great: 401k, ESPP, Health Care, Free Health Screeings. -Lowe's is still expanding and growing. -Bonuses -Some new technology

    Cons

    - A lot of IT issues with new and old technology. - Certain areas/markets get a lot of micromanaging that actually slows down productivity and creates disengagement. - Not very easy to grow in company as relocation costs are now a negative factor on a persons ability to get the new position. This happens WAY too often. - A lot of time spent setting and looking at computer monitors. Can become tedious.

    Advice to Management

    - Heavy micromanagement is not a successful way to run a market/region
