Pros

Professional associates, management support, growth opportunities

Cons

Schedule and the lack of a windows based management system at register and specialists level

Advice to Management

consider using CPM (Critical Path Method) for scheduling store associate work schedules. Pursue commercial contractor accounts at the store level.

    Pros

Lowe's have good benefits for full timers, and the store I work at the stuff are friendly. pays ok for college students and people needing some income

    Cons

Any increase in pay to new hires won't be applied to you unless you change jobs. The hours can get you because it is retail

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what Lowe's says they should be paid, not just when they change jobs or new hires

I have been working at Lowe's

    Pros

    -Stress free job
-Not too much physical labor, but enough to stay busy
    -Decent pay rate
    -Great part time job
-Decent benefits for a retail job
-good work environment, depending on management

    Cons

    -Management switches happen often
-Corporate schedule depending on your job title (work different days and hours)
-sometimes the store is understaffed forcing you to do other people's job.
-can become a little frustrating at times...
-managers will try to ask you(force you) to leave when sales are slow
-there are no perks that come along with being in the company for a substantial amount of time
    -

    Advice to Management

Be honest to employees and don't try to backstab them
