    Advice to Management

Compensation could be higher and the training time before you start the position should be longer. Now I only got a few hours.

I have been working at Lowe's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for, has lots of benefits even for part-time employees. As a part timer, I have a 401(k) set up (I believe I had to wait either 6 months or 1 year before I could start it). I also have ESPP- Employee Stock Purchase Plan which a specified percentage is deducted from my paycheck and then purchased twice a year at a 15% discount from stock price. Also, if sales and customer service are up, (along with no or very few accidents) we get bonuses. As a student, Management will try to work with you if you have an exam or school conflict as long as you can find someone to cover your scheduled shift.

    Cons

Some of the management is bad, but that is just a personal opinion. Other employees like certain members of management. Typically, management will like you only if you are in their zone.
