    Pros

    Vacation time, good schedule, 401K after 6 months. Possibilities to seek new jobs within the company and rather easy go get promoted.

    Cons

    Hourly salary is really low. The schedules often contains weekends. Don't work here too long. The turnover on staff Is high,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Compensation could be higher and the training time before you start the position should be longer. Now I only got a few hours.

    Pay is decent comparative to other retailers, Good benefits, Opportunity for advancement within the company, Company is "employee-centric" in that Lowe's seems to focus on striving to keep their employees happy in order to maintain a productive and successful company, Scholarship fund offered to employees, Discounts for some companies granted to employees, Some cutting-edge technology employed, Innovative company that is constantly changing and striving for success

    Stressful work environment depending on position within store/company, Rotating schedules with only consistency month-month but not week to week, Training for all associates is sub-par and insufficient before they are thrown into the fire, Long hours for any position above Department Manager, antiquated operating system that is not user-friendly utilized for all day-to-day operations, District and Regional Management teams have a tendency to be unnecessarily hard on their stores, Expectations for DMLP position is too great a burden for one person within a store, Personal Development Plans

    Learn to celebrate wins and successes with your associates more consistently, Learn to administer and follow up training to associates more effectively, consistently and efficiently, Senior management (ASMs) need to be more involved and held more accountable for the ownership of their zones and the development of the associates within their respective areas, Upgrade from your current operating system, Restructure PDP's
