I have been working at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford

    Pros

Many learning opportunities with high acuity patients; hospital's reputation/name

    Cons

Unsafe work environment; benefits package not as good as other hospitals; nurse to patient ratio needs to be reduced in order to provide safe care to the very acute patients that this hospital takes on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more staff to compensate for heavy workload of highly acute patients.
