I have been working at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford

Pros

Good reputation and they attract some of the best nurses to be found, good pay and benefits, variety of clinical cases is amazing

Cons

Management out of touch, anti union sentiment profound, lack of recognition from management for the talent they have, lack of communication from management

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of your office and listen to what your troops on the ground are saying, demote, move or fire some of your managers who are so OCD and so out of touch with what goes on at the bedside
