I worked at Lutheran Services Florida full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Generous vacation/paid leave-BUT you will need it

    Cons

Low Pay-New hires deceived as to job descriptions company direction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't give the employees the "love it or leave it" response. There are ways to retain great employees, that isn't a way. Executive Leadership needs to have a better handle on regional leadership as far as the abuse of power by regional leaders. Give new hires truthful information on job descriptions and company direction. Pay your employees fairly and get rid of the employees who make it their mission to make new or perceived "inferior" employees look and feel badly about their positions and job performance. I worked regularly with an HR employee who had NO business being in HR. This is a "faith based" organization, but does not conduct itself as such on the business/employee relations aspects.
