I have been working at Lyft part-time for less than a year

Pros

Flexible hours, nice riders, get to know San Francisco

Cons

The wear and tear on your car, pay is not dependable as it fluctuates constantly

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice if drivers still got paid well even when Lyft chooses to drop rates, leaving Lyft HQ as the only ones making the real money.

I have been working at Lyft part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Flexibility
Pay(if you want it, you will get it)
    They recognize hard work
The customers(1 out of 150 customers I've dealt with was too much)

    Cons

The only thing I could say about bad Lyft, and isn't even that bad, is the fact that I feel they should have more employees at the HQ so that it would be easier to get in contact with someone. Lyft is not my full time gig, so to me its to tedious to have to type out an email every time I have a question that is not on the FAQ page. Im usually really busy on working days and on my days off I'd rather not have to type emails. I know I'm just complaining about nothing. Lyft is awesome!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more people at the HQ and just keep up on the new ideas!

Current Employee - Lyft Driver in Washington, DC

I have been working at Lyft part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Choose your own hours, no boss looming over your shoulder (your the boss).

    Cons

In Washington DC, not enough passengers or demand for Lyft drivers. Uber seems to have cornered the market so you may not make as much on any given night and Lyft will kick you out of their driver mode system if there are too many driver on the road.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More marketing in Washington DC.
