Pros

Ownership of projects Flexibility in work schedule Travel opportunities Friendly people Hard working people

Cons

Unrealistic expectations - pace unsustainable Lack of Sr. Management planning Lack of Sr. Management understanding of what it takes to complete tasks Environment of knee jerk reactions Secretive Sr. management is flat, focuses on individual task list verse team approach and input.

Advice to Management

Listen to risk avoidance advice from staff Listen to experienced employees timelines (it is based on experience for a reason) Be less secretive and work with vendors verses trying to dominate

    Pros

Competitive salaries and bonus and stock options Great product in the migraine inhaler with HUGE potential Very well funded always, and now even better with an Allergan partnership Talented, experienced and hard-working people

    Cons

Upper management does not communicate with staff and virtually everything is a secret Unsustainable stress levels imposed by upper management with arbitrary, unrealistic goals and timelines One-trick pony with everything riding on market approval of the migraine inhaler Lack of planning and endless crisis management to meet the unrealistic timelines Absence of trust, respect and fair treatment of employees The interview process can be long Very high employee turnover

    Advice to Management

Listen to the high-priced, experienced professionals you hire and take their advice Include the people who are going to do the work in the planning process

    Pros

The best thing about MAP are their MAPsters.... the People. They have a Weds Lunch that's a great place to see others and take a MUCH NEEDED break from work. Did i say the People? The Founder Tom A. is a real pleasure to work with and dedicated. The Product is fantastic and can help MANY people! and and did i mention the People?

    Cons

There is a clear sense of unfair treatment, there is no appreciation for hard work, politics are huge, the Sr, Management have poor planning skills and are not honest with their people. There is too much Drama and Favoritism. Most have no to little trust for upper management. I Agree with the other reviewer... don't even think about working for MAP!

    Advice to Management

Plan Plan Plan... Celebrate more, Treat your people like professional HUMAN BEINGS, respect your talent and reward them appropriately and timely.
