Hard work, below average pay, and questionable management

Assembler (Former Employee)
Springfield, MN

ProsThe pay is decent for a temporary job, considerably better than working in the food service industry.
Not difficult work--anyone can learn to do it.
Friendly co-workers.

ConsBelow average pay.
Semi-difficult working conditions.
Half of my managers were very helpful, while the other half were extremely lazy.

Advice to Senior ManagementAn increase in pay would increase worker morale and production. Additionally, you may want to conduct a review of some of your line managers.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

It keeps getting harder, it keeps getting better

    Distribution Operations Specialist (Current Employee)

I have been working at MAT Holdings full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: How much are you actually capable of? How often are you called upon to develop and deploy your actual "skill set" and total ability?… Cons: Changes every day, information overload that requires doing things in a better way. It is annoying to be bothered with so many interruptions--but that… Advice to Senior Management: RF updates once a day set time, like 3am, reboots at start of every shift to enact update. Communication system in DC, loudspeaker paging… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

    Horrible place to work

    Manager (Former Employee)
    Long Grove, IL

I worked at MAT Holdings full-time for more than a year

Pros: There is nothing good about that place. It is like… Cons: Everything, there is nothing good about that freaky place! People are abusive. Bills do not get paid in a timely manner.… Advice to Senior Management: Figure out how to treat people nicely, just because you make money… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
