  2. This employer is the most backward, alarmingly ignorant, biased, anal employers, they ONLY perform for the bottom line.

    Pros

If you work at a very high efficiency they will leave you alone.

    Cons

They ravage their employees and abuse their authority. They actually 'gun' for workers, if they think you are insubordinate or taking too many sick days. The policies they run are in direct opposition to the nature of the service being provided. Where I worked we were handling admin. services for the provincial medical services plan. Instead of approaching delicate matters of health care and pharmaseudical issues with the tax payer in mind, they used call centre sweat shop standards. They epitomize American corporate greed at it's foulest.

    Advice to Management

wake up. break up duties to be performed by agent/administrators during the day. Take people off the phones for parts of the day and let them do paperwork and then resume call taking, etc. As it stands people burn out, quit, get fired because Maximus runs a sweatshop in an industry that demands 'soft skills' and empathy. that is the nature of any work in the health care field. People in their employ are treated with contempt, Maximus does not honour union contracts and will orchestrate the demise of employees that have gotten emotional, psychological ailments from their lack of interest, common sense, and humanity. Maximus is a disgusting sweatshop that only serves its shareholders and pampers it's management. DON'T WORK HERE.
