I have been working at MGM Resorts International full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

I think MGM cares for its employees and tries to create a good working environment.

Cons

The way raises work is awful. If you get a better job with a fancy title, you can only get a very minimal raise due to the structure in place. You literally have to leave the company for year and then come back to make more money.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix the raise structure if you want to keep talented people around.

    Pros

Monday Thru Friday with holidays off. Good opportunity for advancement IF you take the initiative.

    Cons

Can be political. Advancement can be difficult especially to other departments. You really have to work at it. They survey often regarding work environment. Too many people involved with one process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Promote those who deserve it.
