MICROS Systems – “Believe the majority - welcome to your nightmare”

The few competent people I work with
Health benefits (but any company in it's right mind would offer this)

Cons

Micro-management
Snap decisions without results
Little, if no, communication
Staffing glorified receptionists as Level 1 staff
No cell phones in visible site - Zero Tolerance Policy
No way for contact if there is an emergency
It's more who you know, rather than what you know
Hourly pay is not worth it (don't become salaried, or you will workhorse for this company with no benefit)
CEO that feels it is OK to not give promotions/raises with massive profits
You are a number until you reach executive level - your work satisfaction means nothing to this company

Advice to Senior Management

It really isn't worth the breath, but why not?

I thought this company would be my career. I don't fear to admit that I am wrong. Some management are in their position because they act a certain way or get along with certain people. I don't believe it's all of them, but you get worn down by manager meetings where you have to enforce rules that no employee would consider living by. Most employees find that within their first week of work, they no longer want to work here. It wasn't always this way, but money gets the best of people.

I want to believe the good reviews, but after having been here for a majority of my career hoping that someone would realize that some people are indispensable and worth more of an investment, it's not worth the thought.
