Current Employee - Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cambridge, MA

    Pros

High level colleagues, prestigious, impressive infrastructural support. If you've got the talent, then the sky is the limit. Some commuter perks help reduce costs (small $).

    Cons

This varies from individual department and boss, but MIT is not the most nurturing environment. People expect you to work all the time, and it is a high stress place.

    No opinion of CEO
  2.

Taking a drink from a firehose
