“Challeging Work and excellent work life balance”
Current Employee – been working at MITRE
Pros – Challenging work, great benefits, Not for Profit, Employees treated very well Tutition reimburrsement $1200 per credit hour. 21 days PTO for new emplyees plus holidays. Massage, haircuts, cafeteria & gym on-site. Hugh resouce for publication and research
Cons – Promotion is slow but it is a not-for-profit so folks do not get promoted because they land big contracts unlike for profit company. Employees who have been here a long time 10 to 35+ years do not realize how good they have it so they complain about the trival things.
Advice to Senior Management – Better communication, walk the talk
