    Pros

Ambitious ownership; reasonable opportunities to be heard; When the economy was better, the company provided perks to employees like sporting event tickets and ice cream socials.

    Cons

The senior leadership seems to be in over its head a bit--particularly since the CRO market tumbled in 2008. Communication from senior leadership is poor, resulting in a workforce that has little understanding of company goals, ambitions, or initiatives. The fact that most of the Senior Leadership is home-grown has limited its ability to stretch beyond its comfort zone. Salaries and benefits have been cut in recent years as the company struggles to stay profitable.

    Advice to Management

Communicate a coherent corporate strategy to the employees; Invest in them so that they have a reason to stay.
