    Pros

Recruiting is a fun and rewarding ndustry. Owners still recruit and set example. The office support team is terrific.

    Cons

one manager/owner still runs a desk. Some recruiters were allowed to write business at one percentage rate while others were required to write their business at another and they were working in the same discipline/industry. Recruiter infighting went undisciplined.

    Advice to Management

Stay abreast of trends and tools. Agree to rules and stick with them. Treat your recruiters like the professionals they are.

Great if you're an inexperienced recruiter

    Pros

A business owner handles the everyday workings of owning the business. You do the recruiting and pay them at least 50% of your incoming billings for the privlege of working there. They do have great training, motivational trips, and opportunities to interact with other recruiters.

    Cons

No long-term opportunities for advancement, when you gain experience and no longer need access to the training/support benefits the value of trading your incoming dollars for the support goes down.

    Advice to Management

Find value for the experienced recruiters in your group or you will lose them to a decision to goe out on their own.
