MTM Technologies Employee in Wilmington, DE:   (Current Employee)

Pros

MTM is an environment where self starters and self motivated individuals would be comfortable. Employees are given objectives and are encouraged to work independently. Little to no micro management. Currently, it looks like financially MTM is making a comeback, albeit small and not much of a track record to determine if it's an anomaly or sustained growth.

Cons

MTM lives and dies by the transactions, sometimes at the expense of customer satisfaction. Compensation is far below industry averages and management doesn't seem very interested in correcting it unless you threaten to resign. Even then, odds are against you. The long term viability of MTM is questionable. As long as the investors are willing to pump money in, it could go on for quite a while. If the investors decide they've had enough, the doors wuold close faster than you can imagine.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop thinking you know everything and listen to the people who built the 6 companies you bought. You might be shocked to hear that we built multi-million dollar, profitable businesses long before you ever dreamt of starting MTM
