MTS Allstream – “MTS Allstream is not focused on local market”

Pros

Stable company, company tools and vehicles supplied, willing to train new employee's. Competition with local cable company has caused the company to upgrade infrastructure which has helped consumer.

Cons

Too focused on satisfying share holder. Focused on trying to grow the company but with a narrow outlook. This has prevented the growth to the smaller communities.

Advice to Senior Management

train managers to be more agreeable than hard nosed. Stop trying to reinvent the company as a clone of Bell Canada. MTS doesn't have the clout or vision to be a big player in the industry
