I worked at MTV Networks as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Great culture, great people, great location. It was a fantastic learning experience with the ability to extends your limits as much as you would like.

Cons

There was no pay for interns, at least in some departments. You must be able to get college credit to intern here.

I worked at MTV Networks as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

A lot of ability to be creative and work on relevant projects. Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and enjoy what they do. Definitely a specific type of culture (jeans, t-shirts, out there personalities), however, if this is what you are looking for it will be a great place to work.

    Cons

No one is going to push you. A lot of complacency and work went unnoticed by many executives. As an intern, no pay and working in NYC is tough

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more responsibility to interns and pay attention to what they do. This would make interns feel more welcomed and as if they are valued to some degree.
