Really fun and easy

Production Assistant (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsGreat people, lots of time for joking around and getting to know coworkers. Fun projects. Shoot opportunities. Meet tons of people.

ConsJobs tend to be narrow. Some days there is not much to do. If you're not in with the right people, moving up can be very difficult.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Horrible Place To Work

Senior Financial Analyst (Former Employee) New York, NY

I worked at MTV Networks full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Summer Fridays, Free Soda, Cafeteria Cons: If you are not part of a clique you will not get promoted (basically they want you to kiss ass) They have VP's with HS Diplomas… Advice to Senior Management: After hard work and dedication to the company, you layoff talented people who bring in fresh ideas and keep idiots who know nothing… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

    Intern

Intern (Former Employee) New York, NY

I worked at MTV Networks as an intern for less than a year

Pros: Great culture, great people, great location. It was a fantastic learning experience… Cons: There was no pay for interns, at least in some departments.… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
