ProsTerrific pay and an enormous audience base. The network remains a major cultural force and the brand commands attention, no matter what is airing.

ConsIncreasing reliance on freelancers as staff members; no benefits and little job security.

Advice to Senior ManagementRe-position the network with a focus on music. The era of music videos on television is certainly over, however coverage of the music industry and the development of new talent matters to the core demographic and would distinguish the network from the scores of other reality-heavy networks.
