“Overall, my experience has been pretty good.”
Current Employee – been working at Macy's
Pros – The best reason to work at Macy's, for me, is that they work with your life happenings. When you need off, you can generally take off. As long as you treat the job well, it will treat you well.
Cons – The con of working at Macy's is that they do not openly encourage inside promotions. Also, if you are not careful, they will try and start you off at a low rate.
Advice to Senior Management – Encourage your employees to be educated and committed to the job. Encourage internal promotion based on years of experience and customer service.
