I have been working at Macy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity exists to meet many different people from a wide array of backgrounds and ethnicity. Retail is something everyone should experience once in their lifetime.

    Cons

The hours are all over the place and the pay is not commensurate with the amount of work entailed. Good associates are very under paid.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out how to reduce turnover and reward the employees that decide to stay around. Get rid of poor employees that bring morale down and hurt customer relations.
