I have been working at Macy's part-time for less than a year

Pros

Got along great with my co workers, first dibs on markdowns..great sales.

Cons

they would totally butcher your hours on a moments notice. You could become homeless if its your only job..

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a skilled recovery team in the stores and pay them a little more money.

    I have been working at Macy's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Team I work with are very supportive, so are the managers. When managers walk the floor they are quick to recognize above-par customer service, and will note it down.

    Cons

    Some of the sales associates are impatient. When the store has a sale, some mistakenly believe they can afford to be rude to customers. This is not a good way to do business because every major retailers needs repeat customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay attention to customers when they vent or praise sales associates and reward associates accordingly.
