“Friendly Smiles, Hopeful Endeavors, Unfortunately not kept as staff”
Former Employee – worked at Macy's part-time for less than a year
Pros – Friendly people, Challenging, Great Pay
Cons – Not very helpful training, Inability to communicate objectives to team
Advice to Senior Management – I believe there should be a more organized system when it comes to communication. The workers were rarely on the same page. They also didn't see the point of the 48 hrs we were open two days before Christmas. These reasons might need to be more open to the workforce to better inform them of what is to come.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
