I have been working at Macy's part-time (more than a year)

Pros

I loved every bit of this job and store. All managers were excellent and everyone worked really well together. They worked with peoples schedules really well. Perfect job for new moms, retirees and students. I loved it.

Cons

retail hours, but that's not Macy's fault.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I worked at Macy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    - Scheduling is perfect and super easy to maintain
    - Fast-paced enviornment, which i like better than having too much down time
    - Co-workers were very easy to get along with
    -Got enough praise when necessary

    Cons

-Some of the managers were uncomfortably rude. Would sometimes talk down to me as if i were a kid.
    -The pay was minimum wage
-Wasn't talked to often on how i could improve my job
-No signs of progressing of wanting to develop more into the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just make sure you're treating the regular associates with a little more respect. You might be at a higher position and feel a bit more powerful, but if you approach us with respect and kindness it would show through how good a job we do and how happy and content we are at work.
