    Pros

You receive a 20% employee discount

    Cons

Macy's has eliminated many jobs and placed their workload on salaried managers so that they don't have to pay more as they are salaried. As a manager my expectation was to work an average of 60 hours a week just to meet the minimum workload standard. There is so much to do and if you forget one small thing, there is no mercy. Often felt harassed by upper store management.

    Advice to Management

Promote those that work hard and have actually earned their way up, not who you personally like. I've seen this consistently with 5 different store managers that I have worked for.
