I have been working at Macy's part-time for less than a year

Pros

They give insurance for possible accidental death at work. Of course Macy's is a safe place to work, but such as a fire or things like that you have insurance which is actually a plus to me. I have never worked anywhere that does that and it's cool. Even though I don't believe it'll be used, but it's nice to know they provide this.

Cons

Like I said I love it so far, but you have to either have a prepaid card for a employee discount or their credit card. I think it'd be easier to just swipe your own card put in manager number and receive your employee discount.

    I have been working at Macy's part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Discounts, vacation time, good for college students, good for people who enjoys sales

    Cons

    attendance point system (i dont know any company that has that), countless ralllies and meetings on how to improve sales, Managers will ask you to help them and in return they cant bend their back whenever you need a favor, aggressive sales people who takes their job seriously so they can be number 1 on the reports, cant change fri. or weekends

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve the schedule system and have a meeting atleast 3 times a month, and have integrity of your company things like having sales almost every day and customers are using coupons on top of coupons is how the store doesnt make any money and devalues the items. you never see saks, bloomingdales and etc. doing that..Return policy should be 50 days and after that dont take any back
