I have been working at Macy's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The location I work in is look like a united nation so its fun to help and to talk to those customers time goes fast they buy a lot we give them visitor discounts we make them happy and they make me happy .

    Cons

The managers ask if he can do some thing for you if you said y they do nothing for you so my advice to them let you team ask you. Then tray to help if you can

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Macy's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good people to work with. They may help you relocate if you're moving. Fun place to work. Incentives given for meeting certain goals.

    Cons

Most managers do not know how to do their jobs. It seems they go through a more rigorous screening for part-time and seasonal help than they do for management. Above said incentives are "Macy's money" which you can only use to purchase "Macy's products." They give you unrealistic sales goals most of the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked in cosmetics and my manager was overworked and barely had time to do the one-on-one meetings with me which were supposed to help improve my performance. She really didn't know very much about cosmetics or selling techniques, either.
