Pays well unless you consider the total hours required to work for being understaffed.

    I worked at ManTech full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Supportive management, opportunities to move up in organization, great benefits. Work environment is fun and challenging. Pay is very competitive among all levels of skill sets.

    Cons

    Much of the work is tied to government contracts. If the contract is not re-awarded, the employee can be at risk of being out of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the great work - management is good about being open and honest with employees regarding the market.

    I have been working at ManTech as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    The people were great. I met lots of people from many different places.
    I learned a lot

    Cons

    There were 1 or 2 people that could not/would not do their job and for some reason the company would not fire them. They had the rest of us writing reports of the wrong things these people were doing (wasting our time).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If someone is coming in late every day, sneaking out early every day and doing very little/nothing while they are there...fire them.
