I have been working at ManTech full-time (more than a year)

Pros

ManTech offers interesting, challenging work. The benefits are solid and the coworkers are competent. These are great features of where I work, but your mileage could vary greatly due to the way the company is spread out.

Cons

The physical work environment is bad. ManTech is unwilling to spend money on facilities, so we deal with old and broken furniture and older computers. The office layout is a bad fit for my team. The power structure within the company is severely broken. For instance, a VP has to approve an expenditure of $10k. What's the value add in that?

Advice to ManagementAdvice

To executive leadership: You run a large, enterprise-level company. It is no longer a little mom and pop shop. Accept this and start pushing authority down to local management.

I have been working at ManTech full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you get hooked up with a good contract, the company is great but if you get stuck with a stinker, then you'll be miserable. Good pay, average benefits.

    Cons

They have grown through acquisitions and seem to have made every director from the acquired companies into a Mantech director or executive director. There is too much middle management and they seem to be falling over themselves and competing for each other's fiefdoms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    PAre down the middle management.
