I worked at Management Science Associates full-time for less than a year

Pros

I met a select few people who were sticking with the company because they were about to retire. They helped me transition to a new job with a better salary and benefits. There was also a cafeteria upstairs and a brief walk to Bakery Square.

Cons

The Human Resources need a Human Resources. Awful people who make horrible judgement calls and protect long time employees who are ruining departments. Many people are in high positions of authority without proper qualifications because of personal connections.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Send in someone to do a reorganization of the company and quit protecting the awful employees in upper management. Focus on metrics for raises.

I worked at Management Science Associates full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you can find absolutely no other place to work because of the current job market.
Managers can be flexible with hours if you suck up to them hard enough.

    Cons

    -poor compensation
    -worst benefits possible
    -unqualified management
-you must be friends with supervisors and suck up to the best of your ability unless you want your daily life to be a living hell
    -no recognition of hard work
    -negative reinforcement
-constant use of profanities by the DSC
-401K may as well not exist
    -"promotions" with no pay increase

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit letting people who are close friends run your business as a team. They gang up on hard working employees and give raises and bonuses to employees who can barely read, write, and sound anything but articulate on the phone. Quit allowing people in management to get away with sleeping with upper management to get ahead. Especially the young female employees. Try giving your employees a drug test to see who really deserves a raise and who deserves to be terminated. Drug use is rampant.
