I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Company is doing great financially. Smart, friendly and dedicated co-workers. Many people stay here for years and are happy to mentor newer people. Good benefits - 401K match and health insurance. More forays recently into community service (Habitat for Humanity, Light the Night, etc.) Employs a lot of good people who strive to do a good job.

    Cons

No upward mobility; promotions are few and far between. You often feel as if you're spinning your wheels here and your career is going nowhere. Pay is just average. Office is way out in a suburb of Atlanta. Many jobs could be done remotely, yet no telecommuting is allowed. This seems like obsolete thinking for a technology company in 2013. No clear objectives or expectations from management. Very little appreciation or acknowledgement for hard work/long hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay people what they're worth, and show them a little appreciation, and they will stay.
