I worked at Manhattan Associates full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Challenging projects. Huge scope of proving yourself.

Cons

Very bad management. The team you are in matters a lot. No work life balance. The more you undertake the more work you are given. No appreciation, no compensation for overtime. Pretty basic bonus structure.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please staff more people. Pay attention to the exit interviews and hear out why people are quitting so much. **It may be profitable to remove one senior person than to lose 10 good resources in a team**

    Pros

It's a great place to start your career and you will work with teams of smart and motivated people. If you take advantage of every opportunity to build your network, in a few years you can be well connected inside the supply chain community and with client companies. You will get a lot of responsibility very quickly and will have freedom to do the job your way as long as your results are good.

    Cons

The current CEO, Eddie Capel, is frustrating a lot of long-time employees. Your experience will largely be shaped by who you work under and it can vary greatly. Your ability to move up will in large part be dictated by your ability to have upper level managers and directors advocate for you, simply doing your job well is not enough. At times, the sales team will give new clients totally unrealistic expectations of the product and then the implementation team [consultants] have to come in and be the bad guys, make the clients angry by telling them the truth about what the product can do, and work themselves to death to try to make the client happy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of Eddie.
Stop overselling to get more clients, you are hanging the consultants out to dry.
